Flu Meds = $$$!

Brian picked up the 4 Tamiflu meds on the way home from teaching at ASU tonight. Set us back a whopping $200! It was only slightly comforting to see "Your insurance saved you $89.99" on each label. And, what's even better, (note sarcasm), we have 2 bottles of meds per kid, and they're supposed to be kept refrigerated! Fun, fun, when you leave Jonesboro at 10:00 a.m. Friday and don't get to your destination for 14 more hours! Sheesh! I hope this isn't an indication of how this trip is going to go!

Oh Kelly,
Hope they feel better soon. Are you flying or driving? Will pray they bounce back fast.
We went through that 2 yrs. ago- Max had it and so for Valentine's Day I got $200 worth of Tamiflu and a lot of Clorox wipes! We don't miss the shot now though next year I think we may do the nasal mist. It's supposed to last a year...

If you need any help with Kellen, just holler, we're right around the cornor.

We're flying! But over an hour drive to Memphis, then flying to Houston, layover, then flying to CA, then 1 1/2 hr. drive to our friends' house!
And it just keeps getting better---Kellen reacted to the medicine this morning and threw it up at school! So here she is, sitting at home all day, feeling perfectly fine, but of course they had to send her home.

No, she was under the weather Tues. a.m., but had no fever or other symptoms, so I sent her to school. Fever developed at school, and sometimes she just reacts by getting sick to her stomach when she doesn't feel good in general. Went to the doctor that afternoon and found out about the flu. It wasn't stomach flu, though, as she hasn't been sick since. She's feeling much better tonight, though!
