Vegas, Baby!

So how do I have all this time tonight to create all these posts on our blog? Well, I'm a bachelorette tonight. Or maybe single mom is a better word! Why do they call it being a bachelor when a wife goes out of town, but not being a bachelorette when the hubby's gone? Well, Brian flew out to Vegas today for the National Strength and Conditioning Association's annual conference. He's not that excited about the trip, though, being a non-drinker and non-gambler. He likes to walk around, though, and I'm sure will catch a movie one night. He's staying at The Paris, again, so that's fun.
Thanks to our excursion to the firehouse and a fun Chick-fil-A lunch afterwards, and then precious naptime, the day has gone very smoothly for us at home. The kids were great tonight, too. They ate a good dinner and then I built a fort in the living room and they watched The Lion King in it. And since none of them really know how to tell time yet, they didn't have a clue that they actually went to bed before their normal 8:00 bedtime! Is that being a mean mom? Hopefully I won't regret it in the morning if they get up early! Anyway, we miss you B, but we're doing great, so don't worry about us!
